San Juan Mountain Guides will be hosting a free kids climbing clinic on Saturday, Feb 7, 10am-2pm for ages 5-14. Kids need to have boots on and dress warm! Head to the Ouray Ice Park Kids Wall!

Students from kindergarten through fourth grade showcased authentic learning through curiosity-based projects and the scientific method, while third grade students highlighted an ELA project, bringing together families, staff, and students across grade levels to celebrate learning.

Thursday February 26th from 5:30-7:00pm at the Ouray Community Center to support Ouray School!

Kids Heart Challenge, our schools community service project with the American Heart Association is starting soon. Students will learn healthy habits and you can participate at home too, click here to meet the League of Lifesaver characters, learn hands-only CPR and fight heart disease! We’ll kick off next week, but you can sign up now!

Friday, February 13, 2026, IS a school day for staff and students. We found an error in the listing of dates on the official academic calendar. It was erroneously listed as a staff development day, but the February calendar graphic and school count days were accurate.

The MS Girls Basketball team is hosting a food drive at every home game to collect unexpired, non-perishable items in support of the Ouray Country Food Bank.
