Ouray School District R-1 is in SW Colorado in the heart of the beautiful San Juan Mountains.  The district has approximately 200 students PK-12 students all housed in one building. NOTE: The Ouray School Board of Education approved a substantial cost of living adjustment for certificated and classified staff for the 2024-25 school year. The Board is still considering a revised classified compensation schedule. Staff are also eligible for health and dental benefits as well as the Colorado PERA retirement program.
