Scope and Sequence 

Are you interested in what your student is learning? Ouray teachers have developed Scope and Sequence plans to provide parents with an overview of units/topics taught and the order in which it is introduced for each grade/subject.
 

Literacy Curriculum Transparency

Literacy Curriculum Transparency from CDEThe Colorado READ Act was amended in 2021 to the Literacy Curriculum Transparency Act. All school districts in Colorado must adopt an approved reading curriculum based on the science of reading.  Ouray School has adopted EL Education as its core tier one curriculum, but also uses the following materials. All students are tracked by DIBELS, an approved interim assessment tool by the Colorado Department of Education.

Mathematics Curricula

In 2022 Ouray school district adopted Bridges Math for grades K-5th as its tier one curriculum. Grades 6th-Calculus use CPM for tier one math instruction.
