The Ouray School District R-1 Board of Education announces a vacancy for an open seat on the board. The board invites interested community members to submit a letter of interest to the board.
Requirements
- To be eligible for appointment, a candidate must be a registered elector of the school
district. - The appointee will serve until the next regular school biennial election in November
2023, at which time the term will expire.
Process
- Interested persons are invited to send a letter to the Board with a statement of interest and
qualifications by April 18, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. - Submit letters to Board President Sandy Kern at [email protected], or deliver to LaShel Crandall at the main office.
- The Board will interview prospective candidates on April 21, 2022, at a public
meeting beginning at 6:00 pm held in the Ouray School District Internet Cafe.
