All Ouray School coaches are paid a stipend at the successful completion of the season and completion of all required duties. The 2024-25 school year pays $3,400.
Ouray School is looking to hire a high school girls basketball coach for the spring 2024/25 season. Ouray is seeking a new leader to rebuild the program by creating excitement around girls athletics and participation.
Qualified candidates will possess the following
* Experience in and passion for coaching young athletes
* Experience coaching basketball (preferred)
* Experience with recruiting and retaining athletes.
Qualified candidates will possess the following
* Experience in and passion for coaching young athletes
* Experience coaching basketball (preferred)
* Experience with recruiting and retaining athletes.
* Communication and organizational skills for both coaching and fund raising.
* Willing to create a summer conditioning program and attend camps.
The selected candidate must also complete the following
* Colorado Bureau of Investigation background check
* First Aid/CPR Training
* CHSAA coach training
* District on-boarding course including Mandatory Reporter and Adult Misconduct trainings
* District small vehicle training course (annual)
