Reminder to families about current food supports: Ouray School continues to offer free breakfast and lunch for all students. The Ouray Public Library also has a stocked pantry outside their door; stop by and grab some resources if needed.

Ouray School requests feedback and input as it develops the academic calendars for 2026-27 and 2027-28. Please take time to provide input on start & end dates, school breaks, a 4-day school week, and Presentations of Learning. Deadline is Friday, November 14, 2025.

Ouray School will be collaborating with the Ouray Police and Sherriff Departments in a school lockdown drill on Wednesday, November 12. The drill will be pre-announced and coached, and there will be no active shooter scenarios. Read more to learn about the school's Standard Response Protocol and school safety.
