Colorado 500 Donates $2,000 to Support Our Students! Their generosity helps strengthen our school community and create more opportunities for our Trojans.

At Ouray School, we’re committed to creating distraction-free learning environments that support meaningful dialogue, social connection, and academic growth. For the 2025-26 school year, Ouray High School will be implementing a few specific changes to the use of celll phones and other personal technology devices.

Ouray School will host its Back to School Night for all schools and all grade levels on the afternoon/evening of Thursday, August 21, from 4:30PM to 6:00PM. Please join us for programming on the school year followed by time to connect with teachers and classrooms.

Free for all city of Ouray residents, ID's or proof of residency required!

Ouray School District R-1 announces a Board of Education Call for Nominations for the fall 2025 election. There are two (2) director offices to be voted upon. Both are open, at-large positions that will serve four year terms. Interested candidates should pick up a petition packet from the Ouray School Office; they are due back by August 29, 2025.
