Ouray International Film Festival

This year, a group of students created original visual projects reflecting thematic aspects of films shown at last year’s festival. That work will be displayed at the school as well as the Wright Opera House during the festival. Additionally, we are hosting two screening events at Ouray School during the festival where students will have an opportunity to see some of this year's program. This year, we are excited to begin a new tradition: Each year, the film festival will provide one scholarship to a graduating Ouray High School student. Following the festival, the selected student will receive funds in support of their education beyond Ouray High School. The selected student will be chosen based on investment in the arts, ideally visual art. For our first year, the festival Executive Team and Ouray School are proud to offer the inaugural Ouray International Film Festival Scholarship to CAELEY EDDY.

 

Middle school and high school students are invited to join us for special showings with filmmakers and organizers. Each night will have a different lineup of films.
