The Ouray School Board voted unanimously at last Thursday's Special Meeting to appoint Jane Schiffer as a new board members. She took the oath and was sworn in at the regular meeting of the board on Monday, April 25.
Jane and her family have lived in Ouray going on two years this summer. She has been involved with the district advisory and accountability committee (DAAC), the Policy Committee, and the PATT group.
