Dear Parents,
Next week Ouray School will be participating in the annual state testing program. The Colorado Measures of Academic Success, known as CMAS, are the state’s common measurement of students’ progress at the end of the school year in English language arts, math and science. Students in grades three through eight take the CMAS tests in math and English language arts. Students in grades nine through eleven take the PSAT/SAT assessments. Additionally, students in fifth, eighth, and eleventh grades will take the science assessment.
Schedule:
- April 11-13th CMAS
- Tuesday → ELA Session 1; Math Session 1
- Wednesday → ELA Session 2; Math Session 2
- Thursday → ELA Session 3; Math Session 3
- April 12 PSAT Suite (NO AFTERNOON High School CLASSES)
- PSAT 9
- PSAT 10
- SAT (11th grade only)
- April 18-19th
- Tuesday → Science Session 1 (5th, 8th, 11th only)
- Wednesday → Science Session 2; Science Session 3 (5th, 8th, 11th only)
