Ouray High School and Middle School actors will be taking to the stage March 19, 20, 21st to present 7 one act comedies. Each play was originally written for 24 hour play festivals in which playwrights had only one evening from midnight to seven a.m. to write a one act play which would then be premiered on stage the following evening. Each play focuses on different comic situations and plots: a driver's ed course gone terribly wrong, what to do with a mean grandmother, people who have to order emotions through an online service, a woman who meets her former lover's ghost, the Game of Life game pieces gaining consciousness, actors who have to prove to their director the importance of flowers, and hundreds and hundreds of cheese puffs on stage. Each of the seven plays will be performed for the first time ever in the state of Colorado. Tickets are only five dollars and the show is in Ouray School's APAC at 7:00 p.m.
