picture of Jaceson ColeCounselor Jaceson Cole (he, him, his) goes by Jaceson, Mr. Jaceson or Mr. Cole, whatever is said with respect. He began his career in mental health as a crisis intervention/suicide prevention counselor and hospice volunteer while attending college at Louisiana State University in 2002. In 2007, Jaceson joined the Peace Corps and served two years volunteering for schools in South Africa. Following his service in the Peace Corps, Jaceson earned a Master of Social Work degree through the University of Denver, concentrating in family systems and animal-assisted social work. From 2012 to 2018, Jaceson served as a school social worker with the Southern Ute Indian Tribe and Ignacio School District in Ignacio Colorado. Since 2018, Jaceson has had the pleasure of being a K-12 School Counselor in the Ouray School District. Jaceson also has a license to practice psychotherapy in Colorado as a Licensed Clinical Social Work. Personally, Jaceson keeps close to his town and school, living and playing in Ouray with his dogs, son, and wife.
picture of Ted FellinCounselor Ted Fellin (he, him, his) goes by Ted, Mr. Ted or Mr. Fellin.  Ted is originally from Ouray and finally moved back home in 2022.  He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Pacific Lutheran University in 1985. Ted went on to Aviation Officer Candidate School in the US Navy and graduated in May of 1986.  After flying for a short time in the Navy Ted went back to school and received a Master of Arts in Counseling from Pacific Lutheran University.  He began working in schools in 1990 and has worked at the Middle School, Junior High and High School levels.  During that time Ted also worked for Children and Family Services in the state of Washington and served in the US Navy Reserve as a Seabee.  Ted is very excited to be back in Ouray with his terrific wife and precocious dog and is thoroughly enjoying working at the Ouray School.
